Based on Charles Dickens’ final unfinished novel, this hilarious whodunit invites the audience to solve its mystery by choosing the identity of the murderer. The tale is presented as a show-within-a-show, as the Music Hall Royale - a delightfully loony Victorian theatre company - presents Dickens’ brooding mystery. Musical numbers include “Perfect Strangers,” “Don’t Quit While You’re Ahead,” “Off To The Races” and “Moonfall.” Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical

Lysistrata is an ancient Greek comedy by Aristophanes, originally performed in Athens in 411 BC. It is a comic account of a woman's mission to unite all Greek women in an effort to end the Peloponnesian War by withholding sex from their husbands and lovers —a strategy, that ignites a fiery battle between the sexes. Carolyn Balducci describes her 1991 adaptation as "a meditation upon six translations, plus research, editing, more meditation and creative interpretation.

Bergenstages presents Nora: A Doll's House

Nora: A Doll's House

by Stef Smith

after Henrik Ibsen

Directed by Dr. Leigh Jonaitis

March 28, 29, April 3*, 4 & 5, 2025 at 7:30 PM

March 29 & April 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM

Ciccone Theatre

Nora is the perfect wife and mother. She is dutiful, beautiful and everything is always in its right place. But when a secret from her past comes back to haunt her, her life rapidly unravels. Over the course of three days, Nora must fight to protect herself and her family or risk losing everything. Henrik Ibsen's brutal portrayal of womanhood caused outrage when it was first performed in 1879. This bold new version by Stef Smith reframes the drama in three different time periods. The fight for women's suffrage, the Swinging Sixties and the modern day intertwine in this urgent, poetic play that asks how far have we really come in the past hundred years?
